Ames is a Director and an equity partner at Morgan Partners and has advised on over two dozen deals since joining the firm in 2017. Ames joined Morgan Partners as a Senior Analyst and previously served as an Associate and Vice President at the firm before being promoted to Director in December 2024. Prior to Morgan Partners, Ames worked at a technology-focused investment bank in Boston where he advised on M&A transactions across a variety of sub-verticals across software and tech-enabled services.

Ames graduated from Colgate University where he studied Mathematics and Economics. Ames holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses. Ames is an avid Yankees fan in enemy territory and lives in Somerville, MA.
